Capellen Music Production is an established international music production house specializing in the realization of complex orchestral and choral projects. Since 1997, Capellen has been active across recording and live performance, supporting productions where scale, precision and artistic responsibility must function as one.
Capellen was founded to provide a reliable production framework for projects requiring orchestral scope, detailed preparation and long-term continuity. Its work spans film, games, concert music and media productions, contributing to hundreds of projects worldwide—often operating behind the scenes, yet shaping results at the highest professional level.
CAPELLEN ORCHESTRA & CHOIR
The Capellen Orchestra & Choir is a flexible studio ensemble formed specifically for professional recording and live performance. Each project is cast individually, drawing from a curated pool of leading soloists, concertmasters, principal players and elite vocalists from Czech and international orchestras and choirs.
This model allows Capellen to assemble ensembles precisely according to the artistic and technical demands of each project—from intimate chamber formations to full symphonic and choral forces. The orchestra and choir are recognized for their musical quality, adaptability, disciplined preparation and collaborative working atmosphere.
Capellen Music Production acts as the exclusive creator, operator and representative of the Capellen Orchestra & Choir, ensuring unified artistic direction, production leadership and accountability across all projects.
PETR POLOLANIK
Petr Pololanik is the founder and artistic director of Capellen Music Production. As conductor, orchestrator and music producer, he provides artistic leadership across all Capellen projects, defining preparation standards, interpretative approach and overall artistic coherence.
He studied violin, piano and conducting at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, graduating with honors. His work is rooted in classical tradition while fully integrated with contemporary production practice, combining detailed score knowledge with the demands of modern recording and performance environments.
Under his leadership, Capellen is known for its calm, highly efficient working process, valued by composers, producers and performers for its reliability, clarity and focus—especially in complex, time-critical productions.
